Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026
This policy describes what information is handled when you read serveraxis.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running Serveraxis, and when this page says we or us, it means that operator.
Visit logs on our servers
Whenever a page of Serveraxis is requested, the systems delivering it record a log entry. That entry can include your IP address, the time of the request, the page you asked for, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here. It is fitting for a site about servers that we rely on logs ourselves: they help us notice errors, slow pages and suspicious traffic, and they show in broad terms which guides on VPS hosting, dedicated servers and data centers are being read.
Cookies and similar technology
Serveraxis may use cookies or comparable browser storage. Some are necessary for pages to load correctly. Others, where enabled, count audiences, remember a display choice, support advertising or record that a visitor arrived from a Serveraxis link at a hosting provider’s site, so that an affiliate referral can be attributed. A cookie set by an analytics or ad vendor is that vendor’s responsibility, and its notice describes what it keeps.
Controls in your browser
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, browse privately or use extensions that limit tracking. If your browser sends a global privacy or do-not-track signal, we will honour it as an opt-out wherever the tools we use make that possible. Blocking some storage may change how parts of the site behave.
What you send us directly
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it to answer you, to check and fix articles, and to keep a record of the exchange. We do not sell messages and will not publish them without your permission. Please leave out credentials, server addresses you wish to keep private and payment information.
Newsletters and forms
If a newsletter or form is offered on the site, the details you enter are used only for the purpose stated, such as delivering the hosting updates you requested. Every issue would carry a way to opt out, and an email asking us to take you off the list works just as well.
Outside services we rely on
Publishing a site involves other providers. They may include hosting and content delivery, traffic analytics, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded material such as diagrams, videos or maps. These providers can receive technical details about your visit so their service can function, and they handle that data under their own notices.
How long information is kept
Server logs are retained for a limited period, then deleted or reduced to anonymous totals. Emails are kept while they remain useful for replying, correcting an article or meeting a legal duty, and are removed once that need ends.
Requests about your personal data
Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain uses and to withdraw consent given earlier. To make a request, email [email protected] and describe what you want. We may ask you to confirm your identity first and will respond within the period the law requires.
Children
Serveraxis deals with technical infrastructure topics and is meant for adults and older teenagers. Nothing on the site is aimed at children under 13, and we have no wish to gather data from them. A parent who finds that a young child has emailed us can write to the address above and we will erase the message.
Security of information
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and limiting who can open the inbox. Still, no system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Data crossing borders
The providers behind Serveraxis may process information in several countries, where data protection rules may differ from those where you live. By continuing to read the site you accept that your information may be handled in this way.
Updates to this policy
We may revise this policy when the site, its tools or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version began, and continued use after a revision means you accept the updated text.
Withdrawing consent and complaints
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything done before. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies in use and how to manage them. Not satisfied with our answer? In the EU, EEA and UK you may complain to your data protection authority (the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK); in Australia, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
